The Pikes Peak church of Christ will host a series of Elder’s Weekend Workshops in May, July and September 2010. The workshops will provide participants an overview of all the materials used in Arthur Clark’s Shepherd Training Course.  Art will teach the classes on Friday evening, Saturday morning and a final session on Sunday morning during the Bible class hour.

Participants will receive binders with printed copies of the study materials, a CD-ROM with all presentations and study materials, and a DVD covering key topics from the workshop.  There is a $10 registration fee to cover the cost of all study materials.

The course will enable the participant to teach the entire course curriculum which covers thirty topics in three phases: “The Work of the Local Body,” “The Mission of the Church,” and “Church Leadership and Organization.” The course’s goal is aid servants who are presently in the work of shepherds, evangelists and teachers. Equally important, the course is designed to motivate spiritual Christian men to study and apply God’s Word, planting seeds for future leaders of the Lord’s body.
