••Keenagers - Our 55 and over segment of the congregation.
Each month, they meet either at a local restaurant or in a member's home to
enjoy a meal together and spend time with each other. They also take
on special work projects at the building too. We love our keenagers,
and it's clear they love each other too!
•Fellowship
Meals - Usually held once each quarter, normally in
conjunction with a special event or guest speaker. What a love feast!
Fellowship meals are provided in our downstairs fellowship area.

•Game
Night - The 2nd Friday night of each month
(except December) we meet at 6:30 p.m. for an evening of snacks and games (board
games, card games, dominos). Its a great opportunity to bring our
friends from outside the church, expand their circle of friends and build
relationships that will last through eternity!
•Annual
Ice Cream Social - In August, we normally have a
special Sunday evening event following our evening worship. Home-made
(and "store-bought") ice cream with cookies, cakes and toppings. It's
a delicious way to spend some time together. And our downstairs
fellowship area is really cool!
•F.I.S.H.
Groups - FISH stands for Fellowship In Sharing Homes.
It's one more way for us to know each other better and grow in love.
In the fall, winter and spring, we announce that FISH groups are forming.
After the sign-up period is over, each family is assigned (randomly) to a
group of four families. The four families then take turns either
hosting the group in their home for a meal (usually with each family
bringing a dish), or if their home is not well-suited to a large group, the church building
can be used. The host family is also encouraged to invite new members
to their "FISH dinner" as a way of quickly expanding their circle of
fellowship.
•Annual Softball Game - Though none of us
are baseball all-stars (although one of our number does play for the Sky
Sox!) we all enjoy the annual softball game at one of the local ball parks.
We like to play in the morning and then conclude the game with a hamburger /
hot dog lunch. It's a great day.
Parent's Night Out - In December, the teenagers
(with adult supervision) provide free baby-sitting to our families with
young children so the parents can have an evening to themselves. Many
parents use this night for a quiet dinner and some holiday shopping! It's
also a great chance for our teens to demonstrate their willingness to help
others and be role models for young children.
Fall and Spring Seminars - We try to
bring in special seminar leaders on a variety of topics. Though most seminars are open to the public, we've learned that most
of the seminar
participants will be members of our congregation or our "sister
congregations" in the local area.
